Iceman 2009 REGISTRATION OPENS TOMORROW TONIGHT

Below is the email I received with instructions. Read carefully you need to create an account on SportsBaseOnline

Dave

Dear David,
I swear I tested the link to the new SportsBaseOnline profile section before I sent out yeterday's note about the 2009 Iceman registration process! I am sorry for any confusion and/or frustration on your part trying to get that link to work. (It did not work for a number of you). So here is a much simpler link:
This will take you to the new SportsBaseOnline site. And when I say the "New" SportsBaseOnline site, I mean the brand spanking new site that was just launched last week. (Please do NOT go to the old SBO site to find the Iceman registration pages as there won't be anything there).
You'll find the "profile" link in the upper right hand corner of the SBO home page. Creating a profile simply allows you to enter your pertinent data ahead of time. Plus, you'll be set to rock any other time you register for an event that utilizes SBO for their registration system. (If you already have an SBO profile that was created on the old system, no worries! You can just sign-in to the new site).
Also, please note that if you search for Iceman in the new SBO site, you'll see that it reads "Registrations for this event are allowed by invitation only. For more information email the promoter." This is simply due to the fact that we are still tweaking the registration pages and the system is currently closed but will open up at 7:00 PM EST this Friday, February 27th.

Whitey ....Oh, one more small detail that I forgot to mention yesterday.......
The 2009 Iceman Cometh Challenge will be held on Saturday November 7th!

Winter Weekend of Riding!

Even though the weather was not the best I had the best weekend of riding of the new year. John Schram & I were snow plows out early Saturday and clocked just under 17 miles and John had just over 20. I was up too late today to catch John & Steve but talked myself into hitting the road solo and clocked 20 miles sliding down the dirt roads. Below are some pics and a GPS link.

Hi Everyone - Shelby and I had a blast Friday down at the Motor City Casino riding for a good cause. BTT Andy was the ringleader as usually, thanks to Andy for getting us involved. Below are some pics that were taken & a link to the thread on www.mmba.org

Hell Yes Sprints - Ann Arbor

This looks pretty WILD. Any BERC riders want to car pool and give it a go? I can not make it the 9th but have put the 23rd in the calendar. It would be a lot more fun if we get a few guys to go. What do you think? If you are receiving this via email you can click here to visit the blog post.

Superbowl Ride

John S & I got out today. Man was it nice to get outside and ride. Pretty soupy but not too bad. We got scolded by a cross country skier at Stoney because we were tearing up the ski trial. :-( The fitness level has dropped a bit but all in all I felt good. It was the ice chipping in the drive way when I got home for over an hour (taking advantage of the warm weather that kicked my butt)

Below is a link to our loop, mostly on roads.
